Peppers wants to play in a 3-4 and will likely end up a Cowboy.  Get used to it.

if a team that runs a 4-3 offers peppers one more cent than a team that runs a 3-4 hell be playing in a 4-3 next year

He won't have to compromise.  He'll get the biggest money offer from Dallas.

My question is do they have the cap room and trade material to compete with other offers? I think they are in the lower quarter of teams in cap room and they gave up their 1st and 3rd for Roy Williams (and already re-did some contracts to sign him).

I don't see it unless Gross gets tagged and Peppers becomes a FA. Or maybe it might be just enough to push Jerruh to try and trade TO for a pick or two and free up $7 million a year - which would be bad news for Eagles fans.

BigEd76

Maybe I'm not watching enough of the Colts, but how is Kelvin Hayden worth 5/$43M/$22.5M guaranteed?

BigEd76

Now the Raiders gave Nnamdi Asomugha 3/$45.3M/$28.5M guaranteed.....WTF

They also re-signed Lechler for 4/$16M

SunMo

what's the WTF about?  Asomugha is a stud

rjs246

$4mil a year for a punter and $45mil for a CB for a contract that isn't even a long term deal? I agree with Ed's WTF.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

ice grillin you

its basically a two year deal at 28 mil...whats weird is apparantly in the third year if the raiders wanna keep him they have to pay him the equivalent to a franchise tagged QB

anyway the cap has gone up so much that its not crazy for the next two years...especially if the league goes uncapped

It'll be great when the uncapped years come and we can watch the Eagles spiral into oblivion and out of relevancy. I can't wait.
