QB Eagles

The defense hasn't been this good since the Gang Green days. Top 5 in points allowed, total yards allowed, passing yards allowed, yards per play, third down conversion rate, fourth down conversion rate, and penalty yards allowed.

According to Q, Jim Johnson has about 25 different blitzes ready to go in this game.

ice grillin you

this defense isnt as good as the 2001-2003 defense

Gotta be careful of Jackson's scrambling. I hope they have someone set up to spy him. Because he could be like the early McNabb days with those shoddy receivers. RUn around for awhile, make a few guys miss and find someone deep enough to make a play.

I think Peterson gets stopped....but may break a long one for a score.

Eagles - 27
Vikes - 16

Mikell
Westbrook

Those are the two impact players today

It might be a motivational ploy.  Regardless, it's an accurate observaton.

A member of the Eagles front office has told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, "We don't know which team will show up [on Sunday at Minnesota].  We have no idea."

The statement is a reference to the fact that, while generally playing well since Thanksgiving, the Eagles still have the potential to lay an egg, like they did in Cincinnati and Baltimore in successive weeks prior to the Turkey Night thrashing of the Cardinals, or like Eagles did two weeks ago, scoring only three points at Washington.

My impact players:

Dawkins- coming up in the box and stopping Peterson

Jason Avant--keep the chains moving

Thank God for Mike Florio.  Without him I wouldn't know that the Eagles might win or lose today.

Sorry, Andy Reid and playoffs just don't mix.  As others have said multiple times, pass pass pass punt.

All of my football opinions are based off of what Mike Florio tells me to think.

???

Reid has the #2 playoff record of the coaches in the playoffs, and has never lost the first game.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Just being my usual negative self (at least when it comes to sports), C.  Always hope for the best, expect the worst.

Love the fox pre game coverage:

"There is an injury report from the pregame warm ups, but first, remeber to text XXX for a sneak peak of the next 24!"  **cut to commercial**

pisses me off.  Reminds me of Hollis getting hurt coming out of the tunnel
