MLB on XM said today that the Phils are making a "serious push" for Matt Holliday.  The two names they mentioned were Carlos Carrasco and Lou Marson.

I hope not.  I'd rather keep Carrasco and Marson.

if they can get an extension for holliday its an absolutely no brainer trade...carrasco is a #3 at best and marson while looking good isnt an elite prospect...altho hes at a very hard to find good players position...so you have to be careful there

even if you cant extend holliday i wouldnt hate the trade but i completely see not wanting to do it

corrasco is really overrated. hes not a top of the rotation guy and id give him away easy.

jason donald is the guy that needs to hang around. he can take over ss when jimmys contract is up/can probably handle third for the time being.

marson i think is the real deal at catcher, and those dont come around everyday.

what do you foks know about Kyle Drabek?  He's out here for the Hawaii Winter League.  I 'd love to go watch him pitch but they never give the pitching matchups.

not much to know..had tommy john last year...came back this summer and pitched in the penn league for a handful of games and looked good

supposedly has his fathers breaking ball but unlike daddy kyle pairs it with a low to mid 90's fastball

Drabek was also a star SS in high school but they plan to keep him as a pitcher (same with Savery).  Taylor emerged as a legit corner OF prospect this year.  He was their 5th round pick last year...
