I don't usually do 'game day threads' for Flyers games but I'm working on a project for school so I'm over on FlyersPhans today. I questioned the Richards stick to the face by Staal call and 10 of them jumped on my shtein. I do think the Flyers reputation gets them more calls than usual, I could post stats to back that up, but for this argument you're right that Flyers fans bitch and moan about calls more than most fans. The whining is bad like pre-world series winner sox fans.

Pretty sure Lupul gets moved in the offseason. Giroux fills in for him alongside Carter.

giroux is a center imo...moving him to wing would be a big time mistake...he has no shot but is a brilliant passer....i see him as an adam oates type

I'm all for moving Briere and making Giroux a center but I don't think anyone will take his contract.

i hated the briere signing from the get go...the guy takes away more than he gives...always has...but i guess it had to be done with the season they were coming off of...

truth be told i didnt like the timonen signing either but was waaaaaay wrong on that one...

In hindsight it was a bad signing, but at the time I was for it because who knew some of these guys would develop as fast (or as good) as they have.
