flyers get a 2.2 on csn, sixers a 1.5
caps gets a 1.2, bullets a 1.1
wild get a 2.2, twolves a 1.1 (but hockey = boss up there and the twolves blow ass)

wings get a 3.7 in detroit, but pistons get a 3.9.

the southern teams barely even crack a 0.5. farging bettman.

i dont know how much csn not being on directv factors into it (like if someone watching a wings game on nhl package in seattle gets factored into the ratings), but it could be something.

I consider myself to be a marginal hockey fan.  That said, I'd be more of a fan-- well, if I got more Flyers games in my area-- but also if the games were more prominently featured.  I don't even know what channels the games are on half the time.  NBA is more prominently on display, but not nearly as much fun to watch to me.

They have "national" games on Versus.  The Flyers are frequently on there, if you get that channel.

National games are also on NBC.  Unfortunately, that network is usually suckling at the teat of Cindy Crosby.

Nothing says "boring" like a 6-1 win.

And there was probably 5,000 Flyers fans there last night and that was without the Eagles playing tomorrow.  IGY's right about one thing... if the Eagles hadn't choked that building would have been filled to the brim with Philly fans.

Oh, and the look on Tocchet's face after the game ended was hilarious.  If I were a Lightning player I might have stayed on the bench until after he left the building.
