Upgrade over Nodl/Downie, some thoughts that its really just a threat to the team by Holmgren to get better defensively.  Macnow was reporting Shannahan said give him 7-10 days to decide.  Basically the flyers are lowballing him because of the cap issues.  If he wants on, its to hopefully win and the perks i guess of playing for the flyers org.  The other main team in talks is supposedly the Penguins

Eh... Carle is good, he's sucked ass so far for Tampa, Downie wasnt going to get a shot here.  Eminger was Eminger, ive never seen a guy fall over his own feet so often.

I liked what I saw from Eminger in the playoffs last year and was rooting for him. I was hoping he'd be another Coburn. He needed to step up his game to prove the Caps wrong and he really didn't. Downie was expendable, and I think he's a marked man as long as he's in a Flyers uniform.

Carle is a good pickup.

ice grillin you

good riddance to downie....what a POS...hell be a solid minor leaguer for the next 15 years

eminger got benched in the playoffs last year by a team whos defense was their weak spot for a reason....this trade most likely will be a wash as all three players will be failures but the flyers win for today in that they at least get some sort of upside

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Eminger was benched by Glen Hanlon before Boudreu got hired.  Boudreu came on and kept him benched and only played him when there were injuries that forced him into the lineup.  Eminger has all the tools, but under pressure in corners he freaks out with the puck, where as Sbisa is calm as can be.

Briere is back tonight, 2 weeks after Sports Hernia surgery, Kevin Curtis is a bitch.

Josh Gratton is called up for the game, Cote is out.  Cote has been battling Dizziness and not feeling right since playing the Devils and getting hit from behind into the boards, farging amazing that the flyers still cant diagnose concussions after all the shtein over the years.  Cote has fought 4 times since that hit.

Carle is going to play tonight, Downie is in the AHL, Eminger should be in the lineup.  They play TB tonight.

Flyers are farged cap wise, 350k left, and Gratton cost them 550k just for this game if he stays up.  They will probably be making another trade today.  Also Hatcher is done, he skated, his knee blew up like a baloon(his own words), and he's been told he needs knee replacements.

That sounds kind of bad.

QB Eagles

So where is Biron's Bernie Parent mask? At this point he might as well just start wearing a bag over his head.

Biron sucks, though to be fair neither of those goals had anything to do with Biron.

Carle looked pretty good last night.
