David Akers is without question in the lower half of kickers now, and it's arguable that he's much lower than that. What kickers are free agents next year? Maybe Shayne Graham wants to play for a team that has an outside shot of being relevant within the next decade.

I just had a flashback, does anyone else remember that 7 play series at the SF goalline a few years back? Ahh... memories. You'd think they'd learn how to run a 1-yard dive after all this time.

Yes, now it's time to drink and smoke.
thanks for the memories.

I aim to please.

Apparently Andy just said that McNabb was too sore to run the sneak.

Are you serious?!?

farg YOU ANDY!

Too sore...

Game on the line... and you don't run a QB sneak because your QB is "too sore".

I swear, I deserve better than this.

Sore vadge.

PhillyPhreak54

I cannot believe Andy would say that McNabb was too sore to run a sneak.

He got blasted on sacks but yet he's too sore to stuff one up in there?

farg off Reid.

TexasEagle

And a playaction fade just ONCE during that sequence would have been nice.

Seriously? Wow that's weak. C'mon Lurie enough of this madness. If he's too sore to sneak put Kolb in there. Unless they win the Su... Super... Sup.... ( :-D ) nope, can't even say it... Unless the Eagles are the last team standing at the end of the year McNabb needs to see his last season in midnight green. And get Akers off that damn graphic at the bottom of the page... loser.

Munson

Maybe a QB draw there too. It's one farging yard and McNabb is the biggest dude you got. Sore chest or not, it's to fargING WIN THE GAME.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

QB Eagles

Bradley and Gaither were playmakers.  I guess Dorenbos did alright too. Just about everyone else made mistakes that contributed to the loss. The defensive backs showed up to the game too late. The offense was out of rhythm, and that starts with the pedestrian performance by McNabb. At times the futility reminded me of of the Mike McMahon era. Players like Booker were being asked to play way beyond their ability.

A farging tease, that's all they are.  They drew me in with the offensive output against a high school team, and Dallas.  The defensive effort against Pitt made me believe.  But they're an 8-8 team, AGAIN, with no shot at a SB win, which I knew starting the season,  and now know again.  Great.  Someone has to farging die, a slow painful death.  Prefereably me.
Anyone but Reid.

I thought it should have been challenged. I don't know if there's enough evidence there to overturn but, at that point I don't think you have a choice....you challenge and hope for the best.

Yeah but how easy would it have been to get a TD with a simple QB sneak? Instead the do slow developing run plays

agreed, somewhat.
Without Westbrook they are a 6-10 to 8-8 team.

With westbrook they can go anywhere from 8-8 to 12-4. I'm still betting on 10-6 this year....which, with the way this division is playing right now, won't be enough to make the playoffs.

Can't. It's under 2 minutes, it's a booth review.
