IGY you are about a whiny little bitch aren't you.  This game the Eagles can definitely win, the big thing is going to be stopping Willie Parker.  They also can't allow Heath Miller to do what Witten did.  If the Eagles D shows up just a little bit, they win.

Honestly man, I just don't take football as seriously as I used to.  Not to sound like a douche, but when you do what I do, you just kind of realize its not that serious.  It is really hard for me to let football affect me the way it used to.

You up until a year ago I was in the exact same boat.  I used to get so pissed I couldn't even watch or read anything to do with the Eagles until the next game.  Who knows maybe when I return to the states I will go back to being an Eagles wack job.

And no way is this even close to the Hutton game, I literally cried after that loss.

I'm clearly trying to forget about the Dallas game and focus on a game the team can win.

What's done is done.  The Eagles played a team that is supposedly a favorite to win the Super Bowl on their home turf and nearly took them out.  I am angry as hell just thinking about all the blown chances.

So, farg Pissburgh.

I don't see how last night's loss was any more of a big deal than any other loss. It was frustrating because of how they lost, with McNabb doing everything he could to lose the game in the final 6 minutes, but they played neck and neck with an arguably superior team on the road. It sucked and shtein, but come on, this could have been counted on as a win.

im in the same boat, i used to get all worked up, but a loss like that, i expect Durnaven to farg it up, and im happy with the Offensive performance minus their starting 2 WRs.  The D sucked, but so did Dallas and it just looked like one of those games

they beat dallas last december at dallas with a still recovering donovan mcnabb and a supposedly weaker defense...they regressed from that last night...but now youre proud of them for hanging with a superior team...farg that shtein...admitedly i thought dallas would win the game but i didnt expect it to be the epic game it was...and once that happened the stakes went up...you gotta finish that shtein

if you dont feel last nights loss more than your average regular season game then you just dont feel...it was a monday nighter between two division rivals and it was a phenominal game...one of the better regular season games ive seen in some time and to come up short the way they did is excruciating...you make a name for yourself in situations like that...you win that game as they should have and you become a serious player...not to mention you buffer yourself against a pittsburgh team that you probably cant beat...2-1 is a lot better than 1-2

I agree with all of this, except for 'being proud' of them for hanging with a better team. I'm not proud of them for anything. I just never expected them to be able to run with the Cowboys, especially once they scored two of the fastest TDs I've ever seen.

All of this is true too. But I don't expect the Eagles or Donovan to make a name for themselves in that situation because I know better. This team is a front-runner. They aren't capable of coming from behind in the clutch. As soon as the Cowboys scored off of the Donovan fumble the game was over and everyone knew it. This loss hurt for a lot of reasons, and I'll admit that it always hurts a little more when they could/should have won and it definitely hurts a little more when its a division rival, but I assumed they would lose and they lost. I was upset when I went to bed but today it isn't any worse than any other loss.

You people keep saying this is what they expect from Donovan in big games.  While it has not been the case in the last 3 years, Donovan has actually been a clutch player in the regular season.  The playoffs totally different story.
