St. Louis Rams Prediction Thread

Being the bright rookie that he is, The Shawn Jackson realizes his opportunity with Curtis being out and makes a lunch date wit McNabb to 'go over the offense'. McNabb thinks this shows good effort on the part of The Shawn and meets him. McNabb is more smiles when he realizes he's at a McDonalds and there's a happy meal waiting for him, along with the play book....and a flower.

They hit it off and as they laugh and giggle in the McDonalds patio, Reggie Brown pulls up. His eyes lock with McNabbs. McNabb looks down, shamed with guilt, Reggie's eyes water up...then he sees The Shawn. Reggie gets angry and pulls out of the parking spot too fast and backs into a bus full of children....the short bus type.

i smell big trouble this week...westbrook better have the game of his life cause i dont know how they move the ball against st louis with the wideouts they are gonna have....love the pimp as much as anyone but im not ready to annoint him this week like almost everyone

dont sleep on the rams defense....they have a pretty damn good d line and secondary....two things that dont allow for a great passing attack...their linebackers however are terrible and this is where westbrook and lj need to have huge games

i really really wanna pick the rams but im not going to

I read this and slightly chuckled.  Then, I scrolled up and realized every single person has picked the Eagles, and I am actually the one that has picked the slimmest margin of victory thus far.

actually phreak i feel like i put the birds on too many pts...the more i think about this the more im worried about how they are gonna move the ball

are their three starting wr's...two of them dont even belong in the nfl and one is in his first game...there werent many eagle fans happy with the wr's when they had brown and curtis...but now with these guys they are gonna toss up 27pts like its breathing?...like i said westbrook and lj better blow up the rams better be really really bad or the pimp better be god himself

I worry a bit about the deep and outside game, but I like Smith, Westbrook and Touchdown Jesus Jackson in the underneath to win handily.

The Rams are brutal, man.

the rams have some real talent on defense....more than the eagles for sure...offense is another question...and their coaching might be the worst in the nfl

i think the eagles will win but i think they may struggle

Eagles dink and dunk their way down the field consistently, though first half red zone struggles keep the game closer than it should be.  Akers makes 3 FGs, including one over 40 yards (go figure).

Jim Johnson doesnt learn his lesson from last year with the lead, going against using blitz packages and plays a prevent zone in the 4th quarter allowing Big Bulger and the Rams to march right down the field, tying it up and kicking the FG to win in OT
