Maybe the best situation is a permanent vegetative state.  Because he's probably one good concussion from it.

Alright now, I was gonna' say he ain't far from that right now.

Just a quick break in the current line this thread has taken to say:  I love Westbrook.  He wasn't durable, but that's the only possible knock you could make on the guy.  I don't think he's stupid, never have.

his lack of durability is greatly exaggerated....before his concussions he played in 90% of his games...not iron man like but far from mr glass

Pretty much. He turned out to be a helluva player.

It seems like just yesterday he took that punt from Feagles up the sideline at the dump in Jersey. I'll never forget that.

Acknowledging his injury-prone-ness is not disparaging what he's meant to this team and offense. They can coexist.

the 4th and 1 was football porn.

I'll throw James Willis' pick in there too, not as great as those three but memorable nonetheless.

My wife and I were at that game.  As was my boss at the time and his two kids, Giants fans.  Great day.  Corporate soul sucking life did have a few perks, until I realized what I was giving up for those perks.  But I digress.

Sure, fair enough.  I guess I'm a softy, but Westbrook's best situation is not a permanent vegetative state, and he is not anything close to that now.  Even an irreverent bastich like me has limits, and seeming to wish ill of Westbrook isn't one I'll tolerate without getting cranky.  The dude is gold in my book.
