With gas prices the way they are, I've decided to leave my car running 24/7

I think we're at $1.38 or somewhere very close to that.

Great read on the oil market and what drove/is driving prices.

nice find Phreak

its amazing how Americans just roll with the punches and are at the mercy of these idiots. Its just a damn shame we cant do a lick about it--except maybe not drive--and that sure as hell aint happening

we can drive less, and purchase cars that consume less

you will be seeing a lot more of this Dio--not the driving less part of course

Diomedes

we're already driving a lot less, even after gas prices dropped back down

because 1/4 of the country is out of work (fabricated), but unless they decide to make your railroad dream come true expect driving numbers to continue

Diomedes

unemployment helps the decline, I won't argue that...but it doesn't account for the entire decline, nor does price..

what pisses me off is they dropped the prices before the holidays, then are raising them faster than they dropped it, as to say, sorry the fun is over. meanwhile, when gas prices dove down so low, did anyone notice the price of groceries drop as well? I sure as hell didn't. Isn't that why grocery prices went way up because transportation and farm costs, mainly due to oil prices? i can't wait til oil is a thing of the past. these greedy mega rich are gonna squeeze every juice out of it and lets us all suffer until there is none left.
if Obama really gives a damn we shall see what sort of "change" is put forth on this. they need to stop giving the auto makers money for failed products and start giving them money to be used in alternative methods instead of re-inventing the wheel

It'll go back down in a week, OPEC tried to manipulate prices, but Dio is right about consumption as a whole.  There are a ton of predictions out there that gas will hit its low around 1 buck soon
