Except for Ikeguowwuwnowou, this sounds a lot like Gocong's "stinger" rookie year.

There's plenty of "depth" on the line until those guys are ready and eligible to play.  I was just scurred at first that you were talking about L.J.

and i'm not so sure about their depth on the DL, they were expecting Laws to contribute this year

PoopyfaceMcGee

That's what they said.  Did you believe them?

SunMo

silly me, expecting a 2nd round defensive lineman to play this year when they don't have a legitimate backup

I hear Montae Raegor has an awesome eyeball.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

For all the people who's panties are twisted over this, putting him on PUP at the start of camp doesn't mean he's automatically ineligible for the first 6 games. If's he's on PUP when the season starts, that's true, but since he starts TC on PUP, he can be activated at any time.

QuoteThe Physcially Unable to Perform (PUP) list allow teams to designate players as such. Once they are designated, they are prohibited from practicing with the rest of the team. The player can, however, rehabilitate and participate in team meetings. If a player begins training camp on the PUP list, they can be moved to the active roster at any time, even after one practice. A player is not allowed to be placed on the PUP list if they start training camp on the active roster.

A player who begins the season on the PUP list must sit out his team's first six games. After that point, the player is allowed to practice with the team through Week 10 of the NFL season, and can be activated any time within that window. If the player is not activated by Week 10, he must stop practicing and is unavailable to be moved to the active roster for the remainder of the season.

Thank god. My panties were bunching rather uncomfortably around my massive clit.

Yep. As long as they havent had an official practice they can go on the PUP list and come off whenever.

It wouldnt have happened at all if there camp rosters weren't cut back to 80 players.

85 since the last CBA, and before that it was pretty unlimited and just had to get down to certian numbers by certian dates.

QB Eagles

The reason teams could carry more than 80 before was the existence of NFL Europe.

ice grillin you

from the emb practice blog....

9:56 AM - "BALL! BALL!" Sean Considine picks up an incomplete pass and goes the other way with it. The ball was clearly not caught, but the idea is improving on 2007's terrible turnover output - not letting any ball go.

I mean, seriously... are we really to the point where we're supposed to get hyped over "almost" plays in TC??
