I think Jason Avant is going to have a pretty damn good season. He is exactly what they need as a chain-moving inside the hashes type guy. Now that he's healthy (and he looks jacked too) I think he will put together a solid season. Maybe 50 catches or so.

I was referring to the Spadaro thing but the Avant lunacy works too.  The only reason he's still on the team is because the Eagles refuse to admit yet another receiver they drafted is a bust.

He was hurt last year. Sports hernia and played through it.

He'll never be a burner and he won't do much lined up outside. But he can be very effective as a 3rd down/slot guy and maybe even a redzone guy working in with the LBs. He's bulked up some.

Avant will be like Freeman in his later days when he worked the slot well. Underrated but effective.

its fact that he has off the charts talent...im not saying all these guys can or will ever be able to play...im saying the eagles would have top notch talent all over the field on offense which is something ive been pushing for forever

Henry is a complete farging disaster, who has proved nothing in the NFL except how to get into big trouble.  He's already broke, suspended for 4 games, why the farg would the Eagles want that.  Why would the fans?

I know it's bad, but even I'm not that desperate.

fair enough i just dont give a farg about what players do off the field...i care about winning...im not suggesting they give up anything for a player like henry...i wouldnt trade a first round pick for someone like that...but id sure as hell take a chance on them
