it basically was a lot of yelling about how a current candidate for office should not be politicizing a sporting event during an election...about how snider has always been a schill for the republican party and to say that it isnt a political event is disengenious at best and a crock full of shtein at worst...about her being invited to spend the game next to him in his box says all you need to know about his connections and that the night basically is a political rally for the republican ticket...how a lost respect for him big time over this...

and then more blah blah blah about how he should feel proud for supporting an incompetant mean waste of a candidate

Already in an injury bind, the Flyers traded for an experienced defenseman today, bringing in 27-year-old Andrew Alberts from the Boston Bruins in exchange for Phantoms forward Ned Lukacevic and a conditional pick in the 2009 entry draft.
"We're better now with him than we were without him," general manager Paul Holmgren said. "He's a guy that's played over 150 games in the league and he's a young guy, he brings some enthusiasm, I think he's going to help us for sure right now."

Alberts is 6-5, 220 pounds and more of a physical defenseman than a puck-mover. He played in 35 games last season for the Bruins and had two assists and 39 penalty minutes.

He missed 47 games with concussion symptoms after being hit by the Flyers' Scott Hartnell in a game in the Wachovia Center on Nov. 26. Hartnell was suspended for two games by the NHL for the hit.
