Yesterday went fine, so fans are hungry to get pissy pissed about something.  It's not like the Eagles are crazy deep at LB.  Whatever.

That's an insult to good comedy.

I don't like it. What good are extra picks if you are going to waste them on a player no one ever heard of and would have probably been there in round 5. I would have rather had NC State safety DaJuan Morgan. Ravens snatched him up.

But, we do need linebackers and if he works out, I'll eat those words. I just don't see why it had to happen in round three.

stop freaking out, shorebird.  what if this guy becomes a pro bowl OLB, huh?  what then?

I could go over the entire coconut-horse scene but it's too long. Hilarious.

Shorebird the Cheefs took Morgan. Baltimore took Zbikowski.

All due respect, shorebird, but what does it matter if you, I or any other message board poster has heard of a guy or not?

And how is this a wasted pick already? I wanted Morgan too.

Then, it will be the first time Reid has drafted a pro bowl LB, period, outside, inside, or backside.

It won't be a wasted pick if he ends up being a player. But you have to admit, a player like that should have been there in a later round.

...but what the farg do I know?

QuoteOn whether he knows anything about the Eagles defense:
"I don't know anything specific, but I know they want me at defensive end and I think that would be a good spot for me."

He only has to gain like 25 pounds to be a super-light DE.

MadMarchHare

Anyone else think that, with the guys they've drafted so far, they might seriously be considering a move to more 3-4 like the Patriots game?
Anyone but Reid.

Butchers Bill

Perhaps a modified 3-4 where they play 2 DT's and one DE versus the usualy 2 DE's and 1 NT.  They have two very good DT's and drafted a guy to rotate with them.

Gocong/Smith/Clemons can all rush the QB from the edge so it has to be a possibilty.
