Die-Hard...you can't possibly think that the Mets best is better than the Phillies.

After Santana, their pitching staff is just as much of a question mark as the Phillies after Cole Hamels.

And the rest of the team? The Phillies have the advantage, sorry...you're way off here.

Well, actually I can.

Right off the bat, if you think Rollins is going to duplicate the season he had last year, then you my friend are way off. On the same token, if you think Reyes is going to duplicate the suckfest he put up in the second half last year, then again you are wrong.

And I love everyones analysis of the Mets pitching staff...First of all, you cant say "after Santana" like you're bypassing him. Much like you cant say that about Hamels...But Santana is in a different league compared to anyone else that sets foot on the mound, so that makes the Mets ace much better than the Phillies...and from that point on, you have 2 fifteen game winners from last season, not to mention Pedro who I will take any day over any Phillies starter besides Cole. 

Im not a homer by any means, nor do I think the Phillies suck, much like a lot of you idiots feel about the Mets, but I do think the Mets have the advantage.

Remember people - you can talk all you want about last years collapse leading to the Phillies winning the division, but it means jackshtein as we sit here now.

patently false...keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better but you dont believe it...1964 still haunts the phillies and 2007 is right there as the same for the mets...it will never go away much less go away seven months later...

for the phillies it was basically their second world series win and will always be a golden moment in franchise history
