So what's that, about $5,000 per ticket? I'd rather go for free and see the Eagles than pay that at some other point in my life to see two teams that aren't the Eagles. I don't live in Philly so the parade can go farg itself

doubt youd get 5k per ticket unless they were lower 50 yard line...more like 2k or more if the steelers also make it...those two fanbases would send prices thru the roof

you dont live in tampa either do you?....and if youre gonna travel better and cheaper to travel to the parade....

being at an eagles parade >>>>> being at the sb in tampa...i said this before and ill say it again i went to game 5 of the ws and the phillies parade and the parade was easily better than the game

The Truth!!

I already told the wifey, if it happens I'm there with the two oldest, they gotta be there.

Ok, assuming they win the whole damn thing - whats the best guess on parade date?

The Tuesday after the SB? Feb 3rd?

I'm looking at ticket prices on Continental has them right now for 158 round trip.

ice grillin you

most teams have it on tuesday but if i remember correctly the eagles were gonna have theirs on wed in 2005

In order to possibly attend, living out of town, I have to be ahead of myself.

Traveling to Tamps costs me about a tank of gas...

and you still can fly to philly stay for a week and fly back for way less money than it will cost you to go to the superbowl

Unfortunately, I can't afford either right now.

ice grillin you

you still should drive up and spend a day or two the week prior...i would love to spend the week before the superbowl down there and just party and hang out with eagle fans...visit the wip tents and all that...then come back sat to watch the game in philly

basically that

those who are not at city hall or frankford and cottman after the birds win should die.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'm with Jewbacca on this one....farg the parade, if you're not in Philly the night they win it, you miss out.

Now they just gotta win the farging thing.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I was at 39 in Jax...It was awesome, but I thought if they won I woulda wanted to be in Philly. Either way, it's not a bad gig...

But, should they advance Sunday, Ill be in Tampa - and should they win, Ill be back in time for the parade. I win.
