I'm not at all against having the all-time best players up there... I'm only concerned with us ending up with a banner full of nothing but Buddy-era players because those were the childhood football heroes of most of the people on the board.

I think we either stick to active players or choose a broad spectrum of Eagles greats from throughout time... and time did not begin in 1985.

in all honestly i dont even know what "banner" yous are talking about...and dont really care whos on it so if it means that much to you by all means ill vote for whoever you want...i thought this was favorite players discussion

I like the idea of having players from various eras/generations up there though.  Doesn't really matter how many from each.  IMO it should probably be a reflection of the board population, which yes, would mostly consist of players from the 80's - present.  I know about Bednarick, McDonald, Bergey, etc, etc.  But I never watched them play.  Therefore, I'm not really a fan of any of them.
