iinaden is now a sworn enemy of the gang.

Better yet, no gang affiliation.  Attack at will.

I've fought him a few times.

Why is he a sworn enemy now?
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Thanks for the clarification, Dio. I think you guys have already documented this game waaaaay more than the creators did.

We have something they don't.

So have we decided that combat is a worthless stat is you don't equip a melee weapon?

That's what I'm running with...and if the game is updated so that when you are attacked with a melee weapon, you defend with one, I'll be easy to beat with a hammer because I'm ignoring Combat in training

Well, iinaden attacked my husband.  Then, I tried to attack him and lost (after about 900 turns).  Need to focus on training before I go after him again.

I just got 14 exp from beating up The Dude.  Noice.

I was beating him up regularly a couple nights ago.  I'm not sure what dictates how much experience you get from a fight, but he (along with a couple others) seem to give consistently higher EXP than others.

So I've been concentrating my training on strength, agility, guard, and marksmanship.  Here's where I stand:

Strength: 9,665 [Ranked: 32]   Agility: 8,054 [Ranked: 39]
Guard: 7,724 [Ranked: 43]   Labour: 523 [Ranked: 106]
Combat: 2,169 [Ranked: 56]   Marksmanship: 3,622 [Ranked: 39]
IQ: 1,098 [Ranked: 31]   Total stats: 27,064 [Ranked: 44]

Nice.  I've been doing the same thing today since I'm on duty.  There's been a couple of incidents today that have forced me away from the computer for extended periods of time otherwise I'd be much further along than I am right now.  Still, decent progress considering I was ranked 63 overall this morning when I started.

PoopyfaceMcGee

I am not ranked lower than 30 in anything as of now.

We are in alliance with a new gang, Los bastichos.  In the interest of EXP growth, we are permitted to attack them and vice versa, but no mugging and no hospitalization. And it should go without saying, no camping/farming/persistent attacking.
Also, if you attack and win, you must send a bag of weed to whomever you beat up.  If anyone in Los bastichos gives you trouble, let us know and we'll deal with it.

The gang is run by a friend of FatherDemon.

I'm guessing a few things factor in.

1.  Your level compared to their level.  Max exp awarded if you beat someone at a higher level, min exp if you beat someone considerably lower than you.

2.  How much damage is done to you vs them.  If you attack someone the same level as you but handle them easily without sustaining much damage then the exp would be higher than if you took a lot of damage during the fight.

3.  Frequency.  I'm not positive about this but I'm thinking that if you keep beating on the same person over and over again, you'll stop gaining as much exp.  But if you vary your attacks over several people, it will help max out the exp you recieve.

Sgt PSN

This is weird.
