You and cerevant are hitched, and looking to upgrade housing, right?  If you guys are still living in your tenement, then you need to sell it before you upgrade.  If you don't, you won't get the sale money from your current property.

donated 20k to the gang today. scavenged one step and got 21k. is it just me or do you get more $ scavenging in bigger cities. ive racked up almost 500k the past 2-3 days. donated 100k. is the sniper rifle higher than shotgun?

Yes, the higher level the city, generally the more money you get from your scavenges.

Yes, the higher level the city, generally the more money you get from your scavenges.

I haven't had that experience at all. There have been days I've literally made 10x more scavenging in NYC than in Philadelphia. I understand there is some randomness to it, but do we have actual evidence or word from JB that scavenging in higher level cities leads to more cash?

Is there some advantage to using a melee weapon over a gun? I'm doing pretty well with the F90.

this is a subject of long discussion throughout this thread

the way it's supposed to happen is that you defend with melee if attacked with melee, and with gun if attacked with gun.  this from JB[1].

under this model, it is very important to have decent melee and guns

JB[1] admits however that the system is not performing in this way...random items are being used to defend.....

so at this point, you are best to equip (a relatively new feature) only one type of weapon so as to avoid using your lesser weapon when attacked.

regarding weapon damage, the dynamic is simple...the more expensive to purchase, the better the weapon (this also from JB[1]).  and from Cerevant, weapons simply determine damage cap...damage amount is a function of your strength (even for guns)
