Alright, well a while ago I sent him a note saying that I understood he had paid protection, and that our whole gang would lay off him. 

I am inclined to send him a note that says something like...you are off our protection list as of 7:00 p.m.  tomorrow.

You will always get hit by gang members when you scavenge...that is just a script for bad luck on the daily random loot binge.

No matter how powerful you are, you'll get laid up when scavenging.

something is still messed up.  i can scavenge, but when i go to the hospital my time never goes down, it just sticks at whatever it started at.  but i can get out with weed and repeat it, and my energy or stats haven't moved in hours.  this was cool though:
