Any of you guys have or heard anything good/bad about AT&T's U-Verse?

I'm about to pull the plug on Comcast. I can't take it any more. I went to watch something on Starz last night and it said I don't have the channel. Combine that with zesty service, farging up my bill, piss poor HD channels (no ESPNews HD..really?) and the shtein being expensive...I'm looking at AT&T because its my only real option right now.

PhillyPhreak54

Strike that.

Extra Innings is not available on U-Verse.

farg.

if you're that unhappy with comcast, then dump them and just get the mlb package through mlb.com and run an s cable from pc to tv.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.  He wants to huff and puff about it.  He doesn't want to inconvenience himself for it.

Goddamn right. That would be a pain in the ass.

Not to mention, I can't DVR games like that.

Sgt PSN

mlb.com archives all the games so if you're a paying subscriber you can view them anytime you want.  and i know the newer versions of realplayer will download interwebs video.  anytime i scroll my mouse over a video....say on youtube or espn.com or my favorite pr0n sites, a download button appears just above the video window and i can download it to my computer and then watch it anytime i want.

ice grillin you

im about to pull the trigger on FIOS or at least threaten comcast to lower my bill or im out

anyone who has fios (other than zanshin who says he still likes it) that can comment on it...especially compared to comcast
