Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Hoping this goes through since I don't get cable anymore. All I miss about cable is ESPN. I have Hulu and Netflix instant watch to fill up everything else. I'll pay

The FCC closed the cable loophole today, so CSN Philly will eventually be available on satellite...

Julius Genachowski is the chairman right now, if the internet is to be believed.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Right, right.  It was on the tip of my tongue.

Thanks.

Well, time to move so I can get DirecTV.

hurry up and put it on directv.

also, i just bought the magic jack the other day.  anyone else ever use it?  i got it for 2 reasons.  obviously, i wanted to add some sort of land line to my house.  my only other option was charter and there isn't a great deal for me to bundle it up with my interwebs.  also, when i deploy i can take it with me and plug it into my laptop and be able to make/receive phone calls anywhere in the world as long as i've got an internet connection.

so far, it seems like a really good product.  $40 for the jack, first year free and only $20/year after that.  one of the few "as seen on tv" products i've seen that actually works as advertised.

DirecTV is coming back to daddy.

My lease is up at the end of April. After almost three years in the same apartment I decided to move to another one in the complex so I can have the dish. It helped that they were running crazy specials and I'll be paying a hundred and twenty less a month.

Between the savings on rent and cable I'll be saving $200 a month from what I'm spending now

Father Demon

I just got cable TV with every single channel and HD DVR service, 16MB internet, and phone with unlimited LD in a bundle.  All for $40 a month forever.

I rule.

Comcast (NE Philly) just added a shteinload of HD channels, basically 800-900 is all HD now. I think they're preparing for the FIOS shtein storm that's about to roll through my neighborhood.
