No one learns from history.

We repeat the same shtein over and over again and not because we don't know history...because we can't think straight.

I had aced the first two exams...but I got too busy and arrogant to study for the final....I think I mediocre'd that one.

I think or hope that I end up with a B....but its possible because of 'points' and his lofty expectations that I may even be dragged down a bit....but as far as I'm concerned...I was getting an A going into the final...we'll see.

Actually....I think Literature and art should be thrown up there as far as 'important'. They usually are telling of the general feeling and happening of the particular epoch in which they are created.

It's easy to not even think about it because we don't make calculations, crunch numbers, physically build something, profit, nor does it serve any kind of function purpose in our daily lives or jobs....but it is History, along with literature and art that combined can help us see where we have been as a society and can help us analyze where we are presently and where our current paths lead.

I farged up.

I guess in English class...she hadn't finished completing the grading....so....when I calculated my grade...it was 845 points out of 920...but I guess the total points were 1000.   :(     So I guess its a B.


I got a B in History class as well.


So...for my first semester back after 8 years, I got two B's.

My shortfall was my mis-management of time. If I shore that up...I'll nail the A each time.

At least I know what to work on and what to aim for next semester.

It was hard enough taking two classes, monday night and thursday night...and working....and I don't have kids or am married....

i feel bad for people who have to do school work and get good grades. my entire future is predicated on getting lucky and luckily finding someone who takes a liking to my writing. it really doesnt matter if i suck, which i do, journalistic writing is so interchangable that its really just a complete crapshoot of finding a decent job and not getting fired.
