Nice job SD  :yay

How the farg did you find the time? You going full time?

Do you have kids? Married?

It was hard enough taking two classes, monday night and thursday night...and working....and I don't have kids or am married....

Jesus...I can only imagine.  :o

I work part time, take care of my daughter and do my school work the rest of the time. My girl goes to work and pays a majority of the bills. So I lucked out there. I should graduate in 2009. Its sort of a dio situation but in reverse, she promises to support me through school while I promise to marry her...probably once I graduate although she wants to elope like yesterday.

Diomedes

I'll tell you what, I never want to go to school again.  I have nightmares about homework and classes running late and the insufferable classmates...good luck to you both.

Mental image of a 6 year old sitting in front of a computer paying the bills.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

What position are you shooting for? As long as you are some kind of journalist, you'll be satisfied?

really whatever comes up. im gonna have to start looking in the winter, which just scares the living shtein out of me.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Just get your foot in the door and go from there. Accept that you'll be doing shteinwork for a few years and go from there.  I considered pursuing your field 5 years ago and its tough. I actually had a hookup and an internship set up with the Flyers but had to put it off because the early out I requested with the Navy didnt' go through.

MDS

oh ive got my foot in the door already, i know ill be in good position to at least have something. but its the notion of being an adult who works all the time and pays bills and such that scares me. where the hell did my childhood go?

one of the coworkers here is 32 and he just finished the last class he needed for his associates (not even bachelor's) degree that he started 14 years ago.

He's well ahead of me.

I'm 31 and not yet finished with my associates.  :paranoid

Sad thing is, if I would have finished my classes and not dropped and or got F's in them....I would have been able to transfer now...my transcript is a joke...half of going back is taking the classes I need and the other half is mopping up the mess and re-taking alot of the classes I laid a big turd on.

anyone have experience with getting farged over on a grade? My IST professor (same dickhead I complained about) gave me a B when I deserved an A. He posted grades Wednesday night, Thursday morning I asked for an explanation and he said he doesn't discuss grades over the internet and that I had to talk to him face to face. His only hours were 11-12 yesterday which I couldn't make. As of today he's off until mid-August.
