I've never considered the idea that the NRA and the ACLU are sibling organizations in any way.

Two of my best buddies are card-carrying members of both organizations.  It makes a lot more sense that the standard Leftist vs. Righty argument in this country would have you believe.

I belong to both.  If I'm in the woods and rednecks farg with me I show 'em my NRA card and off I go.  Same thing goes for my ACLU card only that works on vacation in Key West.

The NRA, for all of their fanaticism and low-brow presentation and appeal to the lowest common denominator, is one of the few major organizations actually trying to protect our rights against our government's unending push to limit them.

My Step-Dad is an NRA lifer...Most of those iceholes like the Patriot Act...(& Bush).

after being arrested while protesting the war, it's nice to have their number to call for some emergency legal advice/support

Either they're being hush hush about the autopsy results or they really WERE inconclusive.

It shows that he didn't die from the fall down the stairs, but they don't know why he did yet.

Any thoughts on that?
