golen didnt accept blame for the loss, pinned it on his players in so many words. hes done wonders to make this team not a laughing stock any more but all these close losses come back to him.

basically. he said he saw nothing wrong with handing the ball off and blamed them for not getting yards, dropping balls, fumbles, etc. but was so happy that his team competed and didnt stop short in mentioning how far the program has come under his guidance. theyre not getting blown out 70-0 anymore!! go golden!!

its the same thing over and over with this team. i should be going to charleston to cover the hoops team in a warmup tourney. so maybe theyll win and not act like choking dogs.

Texas Tech has to play at home against Oklahoma State next week and at Oklahoma on November 22 even before a possible Big 12 Title game.  Needless to say, if TT comes through all of that undefeated, just tip your cap to them.

Alabama still has to play at LSU and in the SEC title game to stay undefeated.

I can nearly guarantee both of those things will not happen, and if they do, oh well.  There is absolutely no argument that the Big 10 is better than either the Big 12 or SEC this year.
