I agree with rjs; I didn't think he played horribly last season at all. Carlos Emmons was never a spectacular player but yet was a solid strong-side 'backer. Last year was his first year as a starter and was not really horrible despite it being his first year. I can only assume he will build on that and get better.

If he can do that and if Bradley can play the middle with more balls than OG did, it could be an alright LB corps. Not great, but average.

I mean, it's funny on the surface. Who can deny that? I'm not excluding myself from it. We're all used to uneducated, neanderthals playing football and getting arrested and icing out their grills and crying/doing crunches in the front yard/failing at suicide. And we've sort of convinced ourselves that that is what being a football player is. I'm just as guilty as everyone else, which is why I laugh about him being a second round pick. But the dude isn't awful, and the venom that people have about him here borders on the absurd...

Just makes me wonder what the real cause of the hate is.

Oh, and sorry, but being a train engineer doesn't make you smart.  Getting a degree in electrical engineering from a reputable college while playing football full time, especially while maintaining a 3+ GPA, does.
