QB Eagles

Diomedes

It's clear now.  The Eagles will not add Chad Johnson or Randy Moss or Roy Williams or Larry Fitzgerald or Javon Walker or Donte Stallworth.

This much is clear.

The DJ Hackett signing is going to feel extra zesty after coming this close with Moss and Fitzgerald.

Im aboard the Hackett train and I wouldnt doubt he outshines all the receivers (if healthy of course).

Eagles_Legendz

Why acquire any of them when you can have Andre Davis to compete with Greggie for the slot?

:'(

No interest in Hackett.  Why sign someone just for the sake of adding him?

Diomedes

He would improve the Eagles WR corps, plain and simple.

The BIGSTUD

Adding Hackett removes the chance of getting Roy Williams, Fitzgerald, Chad Johnson or someone else.

I'd rather just keep Baskett. Hackett isn't that much better if at all. He just has gotten more opportunities.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

One of them minus Stallworth will be an Eagle by training camp. The Eagles are serious about adding a legit #1, and when they are this serious about something, they always get what they want eventually. Just my opinion of course.

jesus christ. The only thing thats similar with these two guys is their last names. Baskett blows and Hackett was highly considered to be Seattles #1 receiver before the start of last season and injury.

I cant see why the eagles would want a red zone target with solid hands anyway. Their good

Actually...no, he wouldn't...at all, salty and complex.

Hackett has 9 TDs in 3 years. No one was considering him #1 anything.

He was Hasselbacks favorite target all through camp and widely talked about having a solid year. If he stayed healthy, especially with Branch hurt as well, he very well could of been.

BigEd76

Not sure where he got this from but Gary Papa says the Eagles offered a 2nd + Lito for Fitzgerald and Arizona wants the 1st instead.
