True. If you had copied and pasted that it would have been far more useless and stupid.

Can someone tell me why they are so farging cornerback desperate? Am I MISSING something here?

They're having nightmares of Will James as the #3 all year last year.

Their fault for letting Rod Hood go. Going to spend all of that money on a guy like Samuel or draft someone #1 is farging ridiculous. They have 2 starters, they need a nickel? Go get a lower tiered one. They never seem to have their priorities right.

They have 1.5 starters.  You are only a full starter when you play a full season.

Not to defend the front office since they're generally retards, but Hood left because he wanted a starting gig. He got one. The Eagles offered just as much (or slightly more) than Arizona.

Well they certainly seem to be searching for starter now....why, I have no idea.

QB Eagles

Lito's unhappy and bitching, and he's always hurt anyway, but he has trade value. So getting a proven starter and drafting a #3 CB doesn't seem like the worst idea in the world to me. I can't see the Eagles paying anyone half the money that Samuel wants though. That would really cripple their ability to upgrade worse positions and pay Westbrook to not holdout.

Magical_Retard

yeah i would rather they keep Lito and draft a corner in the first round. someone who can double as a ST return man and play the nickel.

i see the following positions as more of a need than a STARTING CB:

Safety

Defense End

WR

Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

Rome

I don't care who they draft (within reason) so long as they don't do something moronic like they did last year with Kolb.  There are worse things they could do than take a cornerback especially considering how fragile Faberge Sheppard's been over the past three years.

Disagree about them letting Hood go.  They didn't lose him because another team offered more money to make him their nickle.  He left so he could start.  The FO offered him decent money but not a starting job.  Not their fault.

Agree about them not needing to go after an Asante Samuel or other top tier corner.  The nickle/dime positions need to be addressed far more than the starters do.  I'd rather see them either bring in a proven player to be the nickle and move Hanson to dime packages or leave Hanson as the nickle and draft a dime to develop.

its just something we are gonna have to live with until reid is gone...he values de's and cb's above all else...not saying hes wrong because i agree they are the most important defensive positions...but he takes it to obsessive levels to the point that he isnt able to properly address other positions

It's funny that he places so much value on CB's and so little on WR's.
