Chris Mortensen reported a few minutes ago that the Ravens are interested in trading for McNabb and would need to include the #8 pick in the draft for any deal.

He also says Chad Johnson hates Marvin Lewis and could threaten to sit out the season if he's not traded.

The Eagles said that the #8 must be included or is he just stating the obvious?

He's just stating the obvious.  There was nothing from the Eagles in the rumor, and being out there with McNabb all week, he doesn't think McNabb is going anywhere...

Unless that trade would include Ed Reed, Chris McAllister, Rex Ryan and a Filipino hitman named Stu to take out Reid and Banner, then the answer is no.

Wait until training camp opens up and CJ really has a chance to be a distraction and help drive his own trade value down.  Then get him.

And there is no chance on McNabb being traded. The rumors are ridiculous...as always.

I don't know how anyone can say that there's 'no chance' of this happening, but it does seem exceptionally unlikely.

There is NO CHANCE that McNabb gets traded. Period.

The Eagles would NEVER go into the season with Feeley as a starter and Kolb as the backup (or vice versa). It will never happen.

Rosenpuke is the only reason I'm hesitant about wanting CJ.  Because all it will take is for CJ to have a great year, help put the Eagles back in contention and Rosendouche will take center stage again and have CJ demand a new contract.

If they let go of Johnson or trade him, he will count $8.8 million against the teams cap. Way too much. The team has to deal with his outspoken antics whether they like it or not.

Even if you ignore what Marvin Lewis said, and CJ's gigantic cap hit, the way he's going about all this pretty much makes it a lock that if he does finagle a trade or gets cut, he won't land with the Birds. He was always a shotboat, but was supposedly considered to be a hardworker and not a major disruption. He's destroying any semblence of that.

Most likely scenario: Daniel Snyder and Crazy Vinny will probably trade a shteinload for him, and he'll dominate the Birds fir the forseeable future.

If the deal was sweet enough, they'd trade McNabb.  Are you farging kidding me?  They started the season without a single guy who could field a punt, and you think they wouldn't throw Kolb out there?!
