exactly, and buck has played two full injury-free seasons.  i'd say he's less injury prone than our two biggest stars at the moment.

So, we want another guy that's like Westbrook, but not as good?

Replace Westbrook with Buckhalter in game 1 of this past season and have him play the entire season as the #1.  What record would they have finished with if everything else played out the same way?

Do they even win 4 games without Westbrook?  I don't see how.

The Eagles have a ton of holes to fill but in my opinion getting someone to replace your #1 offensive weapon in the event of a catastrophic injury should be pretty high on the list.

So I guess the Eagles should get Tony Romo to be their back up qb incase McNabb goes down.  And maybe get Tony Gonzalez incase Celek gets hurt.  Oh, and Champ Bailey incase Lito or Sheldon get run over by a bus.

So unless LT or maybe Adrian Peterson is backing up Westy, this team is likely screwed if Westbrook goes down for the season.  You don't build a roster on "what ifs."  You build it thinking that your starters are going to play 16 games and that the depth will be able to contribute during the year and can fill in for the short term if need be.  Very few teams ever go into a season with 2 starting caliber runningbacks (Minnesota).  Typically if a starter goes down and a backup excels it was an unexpected surprise (Green Bay, Kansas City).

Stop being an IGY, Sassy.

I never said we need superstars at the backup positions.  Just some fresh, uninjured talent would be nice.

Sgt PSN

I'm not being an igy.  I'm being Sassy!

Define 'uninjured'.  You want a runningback who's never been injured?  Ever?

I want 22 Pro Bowlers starting.

And Jessica Alba.
