Eagles secondary coach John Harbaugh is considered the "fallback option" if Baltimore fails to land Jason Garrett as its new head coach.

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti seems clearly to be targeting a young head coach who will be around for awhile. Garrett could be offered the job Tuesday. Source: Carroll County Times Jan 15 10:01 am

Walker went back on his trade request anyway...he wants to stay in Denver

where did you read this?

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Yeah, he does.  But he's definitely moved away from the "I want to be traded" stance.

I'd say he's got about a 30% of starting next season with the Broncos.  And if he's not traded, he'll likely be cut due to his salary.  The only way he stays in Denver is if he agrees to restructure and take a pay cut.

reese125

yes he does

this was Sunday but who knows what to take from it. Im not too happy the fact he needs Micro-surgery according to Shanahan.

ice grillin you

i dont have the quote in front of me but im pretty sure shanahan said he thinks walker will need mirco frac surgery in the next three years or something like that...not that he needed it now...and actually if he did say that that its pretty irresponsible
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Magical_Retard

the health issue worries me but considering that the eagles will not make a movie for chad johnson (or the benglas will not trade him) and no one else is available...a starting 3 of walker, curtis, and brown is much better than curtis, brown, baskett/avant.

Didn't some defensive tackle from the Falcons sue their ass for making some comments about possible injuries/surgeries when the dude was a free agent? Grady Jackson maybe? Definately farged up to do somehting like that though. It would be like going to an all black wedding and someone dropping word that you're white before you even get there.

I dont exactly trust Shanahan. Granted, saying he needs that kind of surgery drives his market value down, but we're not talking about the smartest guy around either. This is the guy who goes Meet The Parents on his players with lie detectors.

Who knows, maybe Walker pissed him off and he's trying to drag his name through the mud.

I'll take Walker as a fall back option.

Curtis & Brown are decent receivers but getting Javon Walker into the mix with them would make the Eagles much more dangerous in the passing game.

I'd rather them get a tight end who's a legitimate pass catching threat with size and speed, though.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
