Williams only getting one game is a joke.  He repeatedly and deliberately tackles guys like that in an attempt to injure them.  I mean, for God's sake... it's the "Roy Williams" rule, right?

You'd think the dumbass it was named after would get the hint sooner or later.  Guess not, though.  If they really wanted to get his attention they'd suspend him for their first playoff game.

I think the refs that it was Roy Williams of Detroit Rome...must be right...must be

where did he say they were a #4?  you just refered to your own quote in the game thread to prove me wrong, and all you did is prove me right...you farging munson

My quote earlier in the thread waas paraphrasing what he said. The direct quote was "Curtis should be your #3, and a guy like Brown should be your #3 or #4."

Either of them would be an effective #2 next to a real WR.

Fitz/Curtis would be a nice combo.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

haha.  i just re-watched the part right before the two minute warning.

westbrook breaks free then looks like a little kid looking back at runyan, big jon is emphatically pointing to the ground over and over again with his huge taped up mitts like a hockey ref indicating goal...then westbrook falls down.
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

I've been bitching about this for 3 years now.   It seems like everytime I see Dallas play, whether it's against the Eagles or not, he is guilty of horse collaring someone almost every single game and a lot of times it doesn't get called.  Clearly the fines aren't enough.  Now that he's been hit with a one game suspension though, he's got to recieve multi-game suspensions from here on out every time he does it.

i hope he does it in the playoffs or the super bowl and it costs the cowgirls the game.

He repeatedly and deliberately tackles guys like that in an attempt to injure them because he keeps getting beaten and having to chase people down from behind.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

I'm glad someone said it.  I mean, I can't stand the guy either, but attributing to him a desire to injure players by tackling them like that is a little much.

I think that's it. I mean, from what I can tell, even most Cowboys fans think that he sucks and that the horse collar is the only move he has.

Oliver responds to McNabb's comments about Oliver's comments about McNabb

not calling pam a liar here but it seems a little odd that in a pre game warm up interview don would somehow go into detail about how he feels the organization is distancing itself from him (esp after banner went on radio and claimed mcnabb would be back next season...or at least something like that and reid defended during his 2 weeks off) and how he will win wherever he goes.

in a pre game warm up session interview?

Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

If Pam was as slammin' as she used to be, I'd believe her... but since she's not, she needs to shut her lyin', dirty farging mouth.
