yikes

31-13 Houston.  Denver is all but finished...

Feva

Mario Williams: 3.5 sacks last night (13 on the year, btw... maybe Houston made the right choice)
ND Kalu: 1.5 sacks last night

Dramatic improvement in Williams from last year.  He was all but invisible in his rookie campaign.  In fact, the only reason he was getting any mention at all was during criticism of the Texans FO for drafting him.  Meanwhile, it's been the exact opposite for Reggie Bush this year.

I doubt Williams will ever be "worthy" of being the #1 pick unless he has a Reggie White type career but if he plays like he has been this year for the next 10 years then it definately makes Houston look a lot less dumb for drafting him.  Probably gotta see how the careers go for last years top 5 draft picks as well for comparison.

I said this last year and I'll say it again now, Reggie Bush is not an every down NFL running back. He's an incredible athlete and he belongs in the league in the kind of role he had last year. In fact he can be a star in the sort of role he was in last year. But he isn't the second coming and the Mario Williams vs. Reggie Bush comparisons which were silly to begin with, are downright stupid now. Williams is a good player. Bush is a good player. Neither one are busts right now. Isn't that what each team wants out of their first round picks?

QB Eagles

The Patriots signed Stephen Spach this week. Look for him to have about 10 catches for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns.
