Like I said in the other thread....what they are doing, I respect that. What everyone else is doing as far as letting the Patriot's accomplishments mind farg them is what I am pissed about. I'm just tired of hearing it. I'm tired of the smug faces on these farging patriots fans. Even though they don't talk shtein to me, they are laughing inside. I can hear it.

There's always that 1 ounce that thinks we can pull it off. Is that being a homer? Yes. Is that being a fan? Yes. Is that demented? Very much so.

farg these guys, they have alot of the guys we faced in the superbowl, so do we.

I just hope the eagles don't go down as easy as everyone's mouth's on the Pat's jocks.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

ice grillin you

there are no patriot fans....thats one reason i can jump on their bandwagon

another unreal stat

the largest recorded nfl spread was 23 pts...in the last 25 years there have been 5 games at 20+

the patriots might have five games THIS year where they are favored by 20+

farg these guys, they have alot of the guys we faced in the superbowl

not really
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I had every intention of going. Then standing room only tickets were $100. Then real tickets were $250 each. Then I remembered that I don't want to spend my birthday being ignored or pitied by Patriots 'fans' that stopped watching the game after the third Patriots touchdown of the first quarter.

I was planning on going to this game as well, but decided on not going for the same reasons (overpriced tickets, paying to watch the eagles get their asses kicked, boston people).   I love going to away games as much as anyone, but really, whats the point for this one?
I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

just heard an amazing stat on wip

the eagles + all the teams theyve played this year have scored a combined 41 touchdowns

the patriots have scored 54

this is getting more encouraging by the minute.

hbionic, I can't help but respect your diehard attitude. You have been here as long as anyone, including me.

I hate the Pats also, but I cant ignore what they are doing. It blew my friggen' mind when they signed Moss and AD this offseason. You knew right then that they would be very hard to beat. They're even better than anyone thought they would be. It's a fact, not knobslobbin'. Just like it's a fact that Farve is proving a lot of people wrong again, me included.

What really pisses me off is that while the idiots in the Eagles FO sit around with their thumbs up their asses, real teams like the Pats sign Stallworth, AD, Moss, and draft players that make impacts. The Eagles and Andy Reid couldn't, or wouldn't, draft a true no. 1 go to wide receiver if they had a gun to their head. Same thing goes with linebackers. And Free Agents?!? They only sign other teams cast offs, or get a decent player like Stallworth only to let him go when the price becomes too high for their tight wadded stupid asses, no matter how much he would mean to the team. They draft a guy like Dmac or Bwest and think that they can carry the team playing with the great offensive and defensive systems they have. New flash, their game plan sucks and every team in the league waits for JJ's blitzes and then eats them with bread. Farve was the perfect example this year. Brady will do even better.

The Pats make the moves and do the things that are required for Championships. They never stop bringing in pro-bowl talent. The Eagles constantly blow draft picks and hardly ever make a impact in free agency. The one time they did it blew up in their faces. Andy Reid's playbook would be hung on the toilet paper holder in Billecheks bathroom. He couldn't be a water boy on that team. This team isn't a pimple on the ass of a team like the Patriots.

And you know what? No matter how bad we get beat this week, and we will get beat, I guarantee that, Andy Reid will still be his stupid hardheaded ignorant self, saying I need to put my players in better position to make plays and so on. He won't learn a farging thing, no matter how many times McNabb gets sacked or how many pts. the Pats score on our D. It won't change a thing.

I think it's $90 but I've always been able to scalp tickets for around $100-$120. No such luck with Gillette, that I was able to find anyway.

Rome

I was going to go but then I remembered I'd rather perform a self-colonoscopy on myself than fly to Boston, spend hundreds of dollars on tickets, a room and food & beverages only to see the Eagles get slaughtered by five touchdowns.  If I'm lucky, that is.

rjs246

You could have stayed with me, big guy.

Just kidding.

I can't think of any other time when the whole country, except of course for the Patriots fans (there are a few...I grew up in NE, I know...or their bandwagoners..these are the vast majority)...the whole country is rooting for the Eagles to win.  Or at least play dirty.
