i just don't think the pistons have the offensive game to run the sixers out of the building.  i know they were up 15 yesterday, but that was more a result of the sixers missing layups and giving the ball away.  the pistons style doesn't really allow them to blow out many team, imo.

Controlling Billups and Hamilton like they did lastnight is what will keep them from getting run out of the building. They were very quiet lastnight.

But the glare from that creepy facemask is enough to keep him visible.

he was a ghost in the first half and in the second half he just couldnt hit a shot....including a lot of open ones

ill tell you what tho the sixers in the first half missed a ton of shots at the rim..its funny hearing sheed post game talk about all the easy ones he missed and he wont do that again...which may be true but he totally ignored the fact that the reason the pistons got out to a lead in the first place was the sixers incredible inability in the first half to finish...write that off to nerves and realizing that going to the hole in playoffs is not the same as the regular season..you have to expect to get hit in the playoffs not get the call and still finish...they gotta grow up fast and i think they will

a couple key notes here:

1) Hamilton was invisible, but he has not played well all season. You usually see him coming off the curl ALL game long but he's just not the same this year--could be a huge factor

2) A lot of talk here about the Sixers not playing well; take in the fact the Pistons did not play well. They have the 2nd best record in the league for a reason and they missed a lot of uncharacteristic shots--including free throws

3) I want Dalembert run over by a Septa bus by mid-afternoon tomorrow

4) The Sixers are one of the best fast break teams, and can exploit Detriot in that area. Detriot does have a hard time getting back, and would rather play the half court D any day of the week. The Sixers need to be on the run,  so I look for them to steal 1 more just for that reason.

If you looked at the demeanor of Detroit players and even the bench, they were way too cool, calm, and collective. They did not take the Sixers serious in their own building,  and it took the last 3 minutes of the game for them to wake up-- even by then it was too late.

The Sixers intensity on D is no joke, and I think they keep this series very close...but the experience might be too much in the long run

yeah chauncey missing 3 straight free throws near the end of the 4th was crazy.  i think dude is like 2nd in the league behind peja.

and sammy's charge during that last minute was brutal.  how can you be so tall and hit the bottom of the rim with the ball?

SunMo

it looked like chauncey had something wrong with his hand...he was missing the FTs and then checking his hand
