just got back from the sixers game tonight...am i the only one who absolutely loves this team....they need to sign iguodala....the guy is really good and theres nothing he doesnt do...lou williams is the real deal....sammy merked that bald headed faggggggot kaman tonight...carney who i wrote off a long time ago is showing a little bit...overall two years tops and very possibly next year this team is challenging in the east

Ha. You saw them defeat a last-place, one of lowest-scoring, non-existent perimeter defensive teams in the NBA. Not to mention you were half-lit at your first Sixers game this year.

So, here's what Im guessing. You either caught a t-shirt out of the air gun during a time-out or Hip Hop high-fived ya after a back-flip, because to now claim them as challengers in the East next year with what they have now and no acquisitions before the trade deadline is incomprehensible. Nice

I either want them to make the playoffs or tank and get a top 5 pick. No more of this in between 12th pick nonsense. Since they're not going to tank I've starting rooting for them to win vice rooting for them to play well, stay close, then lose.

I don't think anyone would disagree with Iguodala being a good player. It's his value that's questioned. There are probably around 10-15 players that put up similar/better numbers than him at the same position, so is he really worth $10M a year? Especially with someone similar like Thad doing really well at 19 years old.

If the Sixers challenge too quickly this whole "rebuilding process" won't be done the right way. Unless they get a stud big man in free agency like Okafor (obviously won't get Beasley in the draft barring a miracle) they won't have a real shot at a title. Sure, they'll "contend" in the East but wouldn't even be a top 10 team in the league for years.

Nice win tonight. I love seeing Cuban poubting in the stands

MDS

I'd love to see him owning the Phillies.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Quotehe Nuggets' willingness to give up this June's first-round draft pick will keep them a player in the Artest stakes, but it also could make the difference in their pursuit of Memphis point guard Kyle Lowry, who is being shopped by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis also is fielding offers for Mike Miller but is trying to include little-used, heavily compensated forward Brian Cardinal (two years remaining at $6.3M and $6.75M) in any deal.

The Nuggets, Bulls, 76ers, Heat, Warriors and Nets are among the teams seeking to acquire Lowry,
the 24th overall pick in 2006 who became expandable when the Grizzlies acquired Javaris Crittenton from the Lakers in the Gasol trade.
