the cowboys wins have been unimpressive to say the least

the Giants were an abortion defensively when they played, the Bears were in the middle of being imploded by Grossman, and they almost got beat at home by Minnesota, otherwise they beat up on Miami and St. Louis, the buffalo game was a loss until buffalo gave it back...where exactly has dallas been that impressive?

Not to mention the Giants were without Manning for much of the game and St. Louis played without Bulger. I just don't see how they're that good. The Eagles may suck but they suck less now then they did in the beginning of the season.

well i agree that dallas has not really beaten any great teams but then again there are no great teams in the NFC. they beat the bad teams they were supposed to and the eagles win one and lose the next against those same bad teams.

but yeah it could be a close game and the eagles did beat pretty much the same team last season with mcnabb and with garcia. problem is eagles are too inconsisten and even when they are playing good its nothing special.

everyone says it every week and its really old and boring now but this game would be ideal for ball control. neutralize the speed rushers (ware) and give them a healthy dose of westbrook, buck, and maybe even activate hunt (i know i know thats going out there).

i was thinking how belichek is running up the score and how all the analysts claim its to send a message to the NFL after the whole spy gate crap. reid is doing something just as sinister...he is passing now out of spite. he is going to keep passing till everyone gets the message. even if that means mcnabbb gets sacked 14 times in a game now. reid will not stop.

That's because they can't. Everything will have to go right for the Eagles and the entire Dallas team will have to have a let-down (after a bye week, no less) in order for the Eagles to win. Has it happened before? Sure. Is it likely to happen? Not even remotely.

McNabb is whats better. He's starting to hit his stride. Redzone problems are there but they're starting to figure out ways to get into the endzone. Every Eagles team under Reid has been average to sucks the first half of the season. I'm still not sold on Romo as a good QB. Plus if there's a bigger idiot in the division than Reid its Phillips.

Anything's possible but this has all the earmarks of a pending catastrophe.  I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.  They've played two horrible teams the past two weeks and barely escaped with a 1-1 record.  Dallas might not be New England but they're a hell of a lot closer to the Patriots in terms of talent than the Eagles are.

I'm telling you, I have a sick feeling about this week's game.  Again, I hope I'm wrong, but. . .

I'll say Cowboys 21-20. McNabb has a rough game through the air and the Eagles run for 150+ yards. Reggie Brown drops a crucial pass near the end and Akers ends up trying to make a 60 yard FG with 4 seconds left to win, only to be 10 yards short.

One significant improvement I've seen is that now McNabb will  sometimes throw the ball away before he gets sacked. It happened twice against the Vikings.
