This is going to get ugly in a hurry. Cowboys coming off of a bye? They may be up 3 TDs by the end of the first quarter. I'm predicting 7 rushing plays called by Reid.

I dunno about embarrassed.  They usually get up to play the Cowboys.  I'd be lying if I said I expect them to win the game at this point, though... which you have no idea how much it infuriates me to acknowlege that.

Seriously, though, the Eagles aren't getting "up" to play anyone.  They never get "up" anymore.  The Reid/McNabb combo treats every game like a yard sale business deal.  It doesn't matter if they close the deal or not.  There's always the next one.  No biggie.

I agree with you though.  There just never seems to be any ungency with these guys... even at the end of the half yesterday which forced Akers to attempt that long FG.

Maybe I'm just hopeful that they don't get blown out by the franchise I hate more than any other in organized sports.  If the game was in Dallas... I could definitely see the blowout.  I think this one will be more like... they'll in the game, just that we never get the sense the Eagles are going to win it.

The defense has played OK despite itself this season. If it is a blowout it won't start till the 3rd quarter when the D is tired from all the offensive 3 and outs.

I don't think it'll be a blow out. Now the Patriots.... that'll be a blow out...
