My co-workers, who found my escapades hilarious, also pointed out I was lucky I wasn't led down a blind alley and mugged. Eh, it's the midwest. Those people are Hoydas.

I also wound up chasing a guy out of the next stall in the lobby bathroom the next morning. My aim at the toilet wasn't so good. Luckily, it was only a couple bites of omelet.
