Bears/Eagles Game Thread

I don't know, Ed... on a couple of those pooch kicks, the Eagles ST were keeping the Bears deeper than we usually see them.

I can't help but think that the Eagles had their shots in the first half, and the Bears are a team ready to explode.

Then again, the Bears have been good for the first half, just to get torched in the second, several times this season.

Overall, 'tis better to be up 9-3 than down 9-3. It's just frustrating to see Brown drop a sure TD, then McNabb miss an open Schobel twice on the same red zone debacle.

TERRIBLE call on the Defensive holding on Will James. Not only takes away Killa's sack on 3rd down, but now they're going to end up with at least 3 farging points.

Pure bullshtein.

Yes, a crap call, but man the Eagles are letting Chicago convert everything.

3rd and goal, and it seems inevitable.

EDIT: Fortunately, the Bears are nearly as incompetent as the Eagles.

I agree... but none of the following conversions happen without that shtein call. The Eagles were off the field without it.

No doubt, but the good teams would nut it up and get them the next time. After all, this isn't the Patriots on the field, it's Brian F. Griese.

But, then again, this is the Eagles this season. Textbook definition of mediocre.
