Observations...

The Good:

- Reggie Brown had 6 catches. I'm not sure if it means either he found his hands or the Jets secondary is that bad.
- Curtis is the MAN!...this week.
- Kearse got a sack and didn't limp off the field once.
- Morningwheg must be calling the plays. See below.
- Westbrook carried 20 times for 120 yards and had 6 catches for 36 yards.
- Joselio Hanson and Quentin Mikell continue to play well in the secondary.

The Bad:

- It looks like Wiz's scrambling days are over.
- The way the Jets pushed around the left side of the Iggs D-line early in the game made blood shoot out of my eyes.
- Akers continued his bad streak at the Meadowlands, making only 3 of 5 FG attempts.
- 4 of the Eagles top 5 tacklers today were from the secondary. Gocong and Gaither gotta step up.

I'm not sure if McNabb's scrambling days are over.  He's still in the recovery period for the ACL.  No doubt he'll never be what he was (he's also past 30 now, which doesn't help), and he may never come close to that.

This year, though, he is nearly Testaverdian.

The first kick that appeared to veer wildly to the right was actually tipped.  I thought it was initially but the "crack" broadcasting team never mentioned it or at least I didn't hear them mention it.

The second miss wasn't a bad kick - it looked like it was heading right down the middle before the wind got ahold of it.

Giants Stadium is a shteinhole, though, especially for kickers.

And I agree about Gaither.  He's very undisciplined in the middle and over-pursued all day long.  He just doesn't appear to have the instincts to be a great Mike.  Plus he should have had two interceptions although the one he missed in the end zone would have had to have been a spectacular play if he made it at all.

The play calling was absurd in the fourth quarter, though.  Passing twice inside your own 10 yard line with a 10 point lead should get a motherfarger fired.  It won't because that's how they roll, but it should.
