It's true. They never deny it, they just try to say other positive stuff about him like that makes up for it.

Their big complaint about the Flyers is that they are bullies and "too physical". I never bother to deny that, either. Of course the team is physical, it's hockey. Grow a sack.

the bandwagoners are definitely out in full force in this one.  the emb is swarming with lifelong penguins fans now.  and by "lifelong" i mean since 2005.

Pittsburgh fans are bandwagon when it comes to anything but the Steelers. You would have thought that the Lemieux/Jagr years would have created some lasting fans, but before the lockout the team was virtually abandoned. They've been out in force since the Crosby signing though.

Most of the fans have been paying pretty close attention to the Pens since 2005 though and hockey is definitely all anyone talks about once the Steelers season is over, so it's not anywhere near as bad a bandwagon as the Caps. Still, this town almost lost the team a couple of years ago and people would have gotten over it pretty fast.

can someone explain to me how the penguins got three once in a lifetime players in less than 20 years...any franchise would kill to have even one lemeiux jagr or crosby and the farging penguins got three....and im not even speaking from a flyers standpoint because they had their chance with lindros which is more than most teams get...but just in general its sickening how the pens were able to fall into that shtein
