IGY, in all honestly Breire's shots have been just as deadly this series when he's been given an open look at the net like Ovechkin just was. Yeah it's one of the best shots in the NHL but that's why you don't give him free and clear looks like that. Terrible.

two completly different shooters.  OV has a wicked Slap/Wrist and finesse shot,  Briere is all about finesse and placement.

Exactly my point, they're both great shooters for different reasons, and of course look even better when they're given open ice to go to the net and shoot.

The difference the last couple games is the Caps have been taking away those open shots from the Flyers, while the Flyers D has been giving them up.

munson is beyond an idiot and id suggest not responding to him...to intimate that ovechkin who has one of the greatest shots in nhl history is an equivalent shooter to briere who my mom shoots harder than is laughable almost as funny as him saying ovechkin had a free and clear look on the shot tonight

Apparently I said they are equivilant as shooters, and not that Breire has been just as deadly in terms of scoring with his shot when given clear looks to the net like Ovechkin just got there. Yes. it was a clean look.

briere has never been isnt and never will be as deadly a scorer as ovechkin...ever...you have never seen ovechkin play in your life before this series so please stop...in fact ovechkin is a better scorer covered than briere is wide open
