my guess is he signs by thursday, but doesnt play until mid february

i have no idea, all i recall is he didnt want to play until he was healthy.  He carried this team, and all i want is him in the playoffs, contributing offensively and defensively.  He's the best player in the world if healthy.

I don't think he was a prima donna.  He hasn't played a full season since 2002-2003 so if prima donna isn't the right term then maybe injury prone is.

Whatever.  If he's 100% then I'd be fine with them signing him.  But it better be soon because if he's going to be any sort of effective during the playoffs he's gonna have to be in Philly for at least the last 25 regular season games.

Rome, he didnt play the entire year he destroyed his spleen.  Came back and led the league in points per game in the playoffs.  If there is one player who has continually picked up his game in the playoffs, while hurt and without much practice its him.
