I got great seats on the cheap for tomorrow night's game in Raleigh.

It should be a good time.

Hartnell suspended 2 games, shouldnt be any when compared to other teams, but what should you expect.

My buddy just got a free ticket for the game from another source.

Unfortunately, this now means I'm going to have to bring a Canes fan to the game with me.

There are plenty of them.  It hasn't been two years since they won the Cup yet.

If they don't win this year, they may be hard to come by again.  Either way, I'm curious as to how many of them will know who BOUCHER is.

EDIT:  Nice.

QuotePeter Forsberg has received a positive evaluation of his surgically repaired foot, according to the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

Forsberg is working out in Sweden for a possible return to the NHL. The Detroit Red Wings, Ottawa Senators, Colorado Avalanche and Philadelphia Flyers are the front-runners to sign him.

Quote"RALEIGH, N.C. _ Braydon Coburn got a two-year extension worth $2.6 million overall and $1.3 against the salary cap.

Flyers GM Paul Holmgren told me this morning he wanted to go longer but, in fairness to Coburn, neither side is sure where his offensive numbers will be in a year or two.

So, the Flyers may revisit this contract next year to go longer if the numbers are dramatically different. Either way, they have allowed some room for him to "grow" within the contract for the next deal.

"He's a big guy and probably our best skater," Holmgren said. "It would be a good race between him and Jeff [Carter]. Braydon spends a great deal of time studying the game. We're excited to have him under contract."
He's a very good D Man, top pairing type imo.  Thought it was 5, two is fine with me.  I just hope they still sign him after the 2

Did you see what Chara said about Hartnells hit.  He said they talked about it in the locker room about retribution and said "" We won the game and got the 2 points. That's all that matters."

If that were a flyer captain, that would be sickening

Long term value, easily.  Short Term Biron.

Richards is good so far

he's really been week, i'm not sure whats wrong with him, the flyers defense has been allowing less shots over the past 2 weeks and he's been really off his game.

The good thing is Hatch is back tonight, so no more Rory who's a -9 or somehting.

Biron stood on his head for the first 2 months of the season while the defense in front of him sat around jerking each other off. A stretch like this was bound to happen. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.
