If there's anything Muson is good at, it's stating the obvious.  So when he says something, I'll believe him because chances are someone with actual knowledge and credibility already said it before him.

munson told me that it's Tuesday today...i can't help but agree with him
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Munson

Not only is it Tuesday, but it's 4:19 PM. Could be 4:20 by the time I post this.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Mike Martz luvs him sum Kevin Curtis. Tried hard to get him. I don't doubt they were rolling coverage to Reggie initially, but after the second Curtis touchdown, you would think they would have adjusted it. Marinelli is, after all, a pretty solid defensive coach. My point is that even with an adjustment, after halftime half Curtis wasn't running alone downfield, Reggie was still completely invisible. Maybe he's not 100% healthy...hamstring? Dude is just completely gone.

I dont know if you guys heard but on WIP 2 days ago they were talking about Reggie Brown not getting passes and according to them he called out McNabb the week before after losing the Washington game saying, "I was open...."

You call out the QB, you dont get balls thrown to you...plain and simple. McNabb did give him some courtesy throws when the game didnt matter

Magical_Retard

i think in the gb and washington game it was a mixture of both mcnabb not being accurate nor confident in his throws and at times the WRs not being open. brown is not as bad as he has looked. i dont know if he was calling mcnabb out but when your constantly being told by the reporters or asked "how come your not open?" you might reply and say "i was open". but this is not freddie mitchell esque.

I agree.  I'm so tired of hearing how the receivers are not getting open.  Yes, they are just like any other team.  They get one or two steps and the QB has to hit them in stride.  Receivers are not going to break their routes to stop and present a fixed target each time.  Professional CBs are not going to let receivers run wide open all day.

Reggie usually has good games against the Giants.  It really is the only game he consistently shows up for.

ESPN Insider on Reggie Brown:

43. Reggie Brown
Philadelphia Eagles
With the Philadelphia offense using Brian Westbrook as the No. 1 target in the passing game, Brown continues to put up solid numbers on the perimeter, but he will never be outstanding. With the addition of speedster Kevin Curtis, the Eagles refrained from using Brown as a downfield threat as much as they did in previous seasons, but he can stretch a defense. He doesn't strike fear in defenses and doesn't excel in any one area.

Ouch!

Those are pretty harsh words for the best reciever Reid has ever drafted.

ice grillin you

doesnt seem too critical at all to me...it even said he can stretch the field which is something he cant do...in general i think its pretty fair

32 teams in the NFL--2 starting WR's per team = 64 receivers

We have the #36 and #42 ranked receivers--I love everyone!

Only thing Brown stretches are his tube socks when he's putting them on. He is a BUST!! He's not a no.1 reciever on any team in the league. A second string  backup came here from the Rams and was the best wr on the team!! What does that say!?!?
