cant see him missing any time right now, especially against a division opponent. The eagle are at a very critical stage right now. He can split with Buck if thats the case

regardless if the Giants secondary sucks right now, the Eagles WR's are no prize.

How bout our secondary? The Giants WR's can eat them up. Very close game

Father Demon

If 36 can play, and it sounds like he most likely can, there is no way the eagles sit him for this game.  Division rival, trying to rebound form that horrendous start, and with the smart money saying that Dallas wins this week, Eagles know they have to stay only 2 games out, and not risk dropping to three.  Sure, the Giants are saying the same thing, but I don't think they have it in them to win against Philly this week.

on the flip side if he can turn the strain into a tear by playing then he sits because the giants are a bad team this is early in the year and the conf stinks

Right, because we learned in 2005 that Reid sits his best players when they're in danger of worsening an injury.

altho theyve yet to disclose the specifics of westbrooks injury mcnabbs was different in that they knew from the start he was gonna need surgery and no amount of rest was going to make him feel better...he basically played until he couldnt play any longer

No way, the milquetoast man did that. He's too weak minded to play in pain.

Playing through pain doesn't require MENTAL toughness. It requires physical toughness. There's a difference.

Thats ridiculous. It does require mental toughness. You can force yourself to play through pain if you are mentally capable of it.

Let's just agree that there are different facets of emotional and mental toughness and that McNabb is OK with some but absolutely missing others.

I've played through broken bones and I'm as mentally soft as they come.

Talk around THAT!

Rome

I don't see how a guy who constantly throws up in tense situations can be considered mentally tough.

Whatever, though.  More cheese, please.

The fact that he's using his toes counts for something though. Not sure if its good or bad.
