They kept it all "in house"...

DT Jeremy Clark, FB Jason Davis, LB Akeem Jordan, WR Michael Gasperson, DE Marques Murrell, S Marcus Paschal, WR Bill Sampy, TE Lee Vickers

FEEL THE EXCITEMENT

Nice picks in the 2007 draft of Gaddis, Barksdale, and Ilaoa.

Munson

Very surprised that none of those 3 made the practice squad. Have the Eagles cut any draft picks the year they drafted them and not signed them to the practice squad since Reid got here?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

lemme look that up in the database of useless information

ice grillin you

dont you have an errand to run?

i dont understand gaddis or barksdale at all

a project is the ultimate candidate for PS...why else take him...did they think hed come in and make the team a year after being a baseball player

and gaddis is at a position where your one good player is 100 years old

iiloa just plain sucked
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Munson

I figured at least Gaddis would make the PS. Barksdale got scooped up right away by KC, which sucked, because I wanted him on it too.

Nate seemed to come around a little bit in week 4 of preseason, but otheer then that the other guys on there showed much more to warrant a spot on the PS. Except Sampy.

I thought I read somewhere that Gaddis got picked up on a PS soon after he was cut loose. Barksdale is/was a total mistery, why draft a project then not add him to the project squad? I think they planned to add Barksdale and he just got snagged by Kansas City. That's the only thing that makes sense.

It's not such a mistery (sic) when you're able to answer your own question right after you ask it.

I fully expect Barksdale to hit the market at somepoint in the next 4 months

It is. I am just so smart and good with what you would call the "keyboard skillz" that I figured it out as the post went along.

Naturally.  I mean... he's going to run out of milk, right?

Was is gas-person still on the PS?
It's his third year, he's not gonna make it!

The BIGSTUD

At least we got Kolb who was the best pick in the entire draft.

Okay. So now that we have a few guys on the practive squad.....what the farg do they do exactly? Watch film? Hang around the complex? They can't even be on the sidelines during actual games, right? What does a "practice squad" do?
